First Gynae Visit

Dearest Baby,

We brought you for your first gynae visit. We decided that we would have your che-che's gynae be yours as well as she's such a nice lady.

We woke up early and drove down to the hospital for the appointment. We brought che-che along and she was still quite sleepy.

Mama went through the whole routine before she saw the doctor. When the doctor did an ultrasound, she managed to find your heartbeat! That was so thrilling for us! :D This was our first confirmed sign that you're really here! Welcome to our family, 'Littler' One (you're 'littler' than che-che)! :D

The doctor asked Mama to drink lots of water so that a clearer scan could be made of you. Mama drank 5 cups of water before the doctor could find you clearly in the scan! Poor Mama!

You're only 2 cm long! The doctor estimates that you're 8 weeks old and you should be ready to face the world in early August next year!

We're quite excited about that! Che-che has taken to kissing you in Mama's tummy every night as she loves you so much!

But, right now, you've been making Mama feel terrible with 'morning sickness'; Mama can't eat properly, strong smells make her nauseas and she just feels miserable overall. Papa hopes that you'll stop this soon. :p

Mama Feels Terrible!

Dearest Baby,

Mama's going through the same thing with you as she did with Che-che. Your development in Mama's tummy is making Mama very unwell! Mama feels tired and sick all the time. :(

You must treat Mama very well when you're born, okay? Mama's sacrificing herself so you can grow well. Mama refuses to consume anything that may help her feel better as it may harm you or negatively affect your development somehow. Thus, she’s going through all the pain and discomfort without any medicine to help her feel better. Poor Mama!

Doctor's Confirmation

Dearest Baby,

We went down to Mama's doctor for a confirmation of your presence. He was also the one we went to when we thought that Che-che came.

He conducted the usual test and yes, you're here! Wow! You're going to be a member of our little Duckie family. Welcome! We're so excited! We can totally assure you that you'll be showered with lots of love! :D

A New Addition?

Dearest Baby,

Mama hadn't been feeling very well these past few days. Smells were making her ill. This was a strong indicator that you're probably around.

Mama decided to take a home pregnancy test to make sure and the test was positive! You're here!

Mama was so excited that she called Papa at work to inform him. We're all excited! Will you be a boy or a girl?

We're so looking forward to getting to know you!
