Dearest Baby Girl,
We went back to the hospital today for a detailed ultrasound scan. Mama and Che-che came to pick Papa up from work and we rushed there as we knew the whole process would take some time.
Fortunately, the nurses tended to us though we were quite early. The doctor who did the scan was someone we knew from the bone doctor's place! What a coincidence!
She carried out a very detailed scan of you and she told us that you're probably a girl! Wow! Che-che's going to have a Mei-mei! :D
But she also thought she saw something troubling - a small hole in your heart! She referred Mama to a senior doctor for a second opinion. The latter could not find the hole the former thought she saw. Anyway, just to be sure, we've been asked to return in two weeks for a follow-up scan.
We then went down to see our usual baby doctor and she told us that this was a usual occurrence thus we need not fret. Also, the senior scanning doctor had also told us that even if there was a hole, it may close up by itself over time. Thus, we need not worry - yet. :p
